The Fit Kid's Camp - Ages 8 to 10

Want to give your kids the road map to a long, healthy life? Bring them to The Fit Kids Camp! We promote fun, fitness and nutrition through games and play. The camp is packed with lessons on sportsmanship, eating right and exercise. Your child will learn what a healthy lifestyle is all about and why it's important. A swim suit and towel will be needed for Wednesday.

Do you like to play dress up and perform? Do you like to create new characters through movement and voice? Can you help your friends do the same? A Play a Day is just that. We will use ancient author Aesop to help us create our characters, settings, and plots to perform a play each day.

Immerse yourself in fun, new cultures as we explore the Spanish language through musical activities, fun choreographies, and artistic projects inspired by Spanish speaking cultures from around the globe. By the end of the week, you'll be able to introduce yourself and ask and reply to simple questions in Spanish!

Duck(tape) Games - 1781 600

Welcome to the Duck(tape) Games! We will create games like PLINKO, marble mazes, Mystery Picture Flip and choose your own challenges to prepare for a mini game tournament at the end of the week. If you are creative and love to use problem solving skills to make working games and art out of cardboard, duct tape and more, then this is the class for you!

Electricity, Magnetism & Sound 101 - 1457 600

Comd do fun activities with electricity, magnetism and sound. Build electrical devices that "magically" move a levitate objects without touching them, light up and produce a mild shock, map a magnetic field, make electromagnets and electric motors. Learn how speakers work, learn about sound waves and vibrations, make a wineglass sing and break with sound waves. Use a strobe light to create optical illusions you have to see to believe! Note: This class covers many of the same topics as Electricity, Magnetism & Sound 202 for ages 10-12, but the activities and discussions are more age-appropriate for children 8-9.

Fishy Friends and Oceans of Art - 1778 600

Come join an art adventure exploring the wondrous animals, habitats and mysteries of the world's oceans. We will be creating fishy friends out of clay and yarn. Weaving water texture and adding prints made from molds of real fish. We will be creating beautiful fish paintings and learning about coral reefs while creating a collage with shells and ground materials. There will be lots of games to play and snacks to share while we dive deep into ocean ecosystems.
